Problem Statement:

Impact of climate change and environmental pollution in the current or traditional mode horticulture and aquaculture practices affects the produce and the quality. Lack of awareness in preparation of soil and water after each cycle accounts in barren lands and bad water for marine rearing.

Motivation:

Helping the Agri Tech industry in India to be able to innovate app based solutions for farmers by helping them manage their farms smartly!

Finno AQ:

Finno AQ is an AgriTech startup. They work in providing farm safety and security to Aquaculture and Horticulture farmers.

Kotak Mahindra Bank wants to launch it's Kaymall section that would transform their existing app in a super app.

Working on one of the largest FinTech brand to help create a Super App.

Getting a good idea from different target segments in farming community.
Why interviewing farming consultant: Get an insights on how farmers operate and behave with respect to different problem aspects.

How do you prepare their lands and ponds after every crop?
How do they know which chemicals or pesticides and fertilizers to apply to solve a specific issue?
Do you use any kind of farming machinery like tractor, harvestor, aerator etc?
How many cycles of crop is being farmed in a year by you?
Is there any technical advisory or local authorities present in their farming community?
How do you hear about new technologies or method of farming?
Where do they get weather forecasts? Does it help?
Do you have any insurance schemes for their farm?
Are the farms exposed to any kind to threat related to human activies? If yes then what are the impact?
Do you use smartphones? If yes, do you use any farming app which helps you with your farm security?

Interview Findings

Fluctuating weather and climatic conditions poses a major threat to crop security.
Crop diseases and the occurrence of insects and pests seem to be common issues, and managing them with chemicals and medicines has become costlier than in the past.
Selling the crops while not having a satisfactory price is a big pain point among the farmers.
Most use smartphones.
Need better government extension programs.
Need farm insurance in case of natural calamity or harsh weather conditions.

Results:

A system usability scale was used to test the prototype with a minimum of five participants. The overall SUS score was 79 that lies under grade B, good adjective rating for the proposed solution.

Actionable Insights from the testing:

I like it as it is very easy for me to understand. More details would make it more interesting.
I want something to make me feel more confident while using the service. Farmer explanation demos, self learning would help me to adapt to the app faster.
The UI seems clean with decent space. I felt like I wanted to explore more.
I can't say about the functionality where I am positive towards using this app. Overall liked the interaction with the service.
I'm not used to much of digital stuff. I need more time, practice and demos to use this app.

User Feedback

"Wanted the ability to build a customized workout on the homepage."
"Couldn't understand how to document your progress."
"Very efficient because not too much equipment."
"Adjusting the machine is easy."
"Couldn't see the screen or reps when lying down."

Results:

This correlation suggests that changes in both pupil size and EDA reflect consistent patterns of physiological arousal, validating their utility as effective measures for evaluating stress levels and cognitive demands.
The complexity of B - Home Page and B - Search sections appeared to lead to confusion, eventually leading to elevated stress.
The study noted that participants needed clarification with terminologies used in the custom section. (Creating a block, smart-flex)
Challenges such as confusion during workout customization and difficulty accessing help and support resources highlighted areas for further refinement in user experience design.
